So, you do remember that the NH Renaissance Faire is this coming weekend right? Yes! Good. Now the website for more information on that is http://www.nhrenfaire.com so do check it out. They have updated the site.
A Taste of Winslowshire will be at The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham on June 10th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Some of the performers and some of our volunteers will be there to do some demonstrations. For more information on that, please visit their website at http://www.crmi.org and go to http://massinnovationnights.com/events/directions-to-the-museum-helpful-hints for directions!
We will also be doing the Relay for Life in Pawtucket, RI on May 29th and 30th, so if you live in RI, please do come out and support us!
We did find some hotels that are going to be helping us out in the local area of Taunton, MA. We also have to deal with the fact that Jimmy Buffet is coming to town, and most of the hotels in the Norton, MA area are already booked.
Here are some of the hotels and their websites:
http://www.hamptoninn.com The Hampton Inn in Raynham, MA - Rate of $109.00 per night this does include breakfast (blocked 20 rooms just for us!) the code word is "Winslowshire"
http://www.qualityinn.com The Quality Inn in Raynham, MA - Rate of $70.00 plus tax per night (has 20 King sized bed rooms available, 8 two Queen sized beds rooms available and 15 smoking rooms available) again the code word is "Winslowshire"
http://www.super8motelattleboro.com Super 8 Motel in Attleboro, MA- unfortunately, all the rooms (except 2 smoking rooms) for Saturday are all booked. They do have rooms available on Sunday and the rate she quoted me was $50-$60. (I am not sure if that includes tax or not)
That's it for now.
